Prime Days 2019 – A Two Day Parade of Deals! Are You Ready? We Are!

Posted by

Woo Hoo! Prime Days 2019 has officially been announced and it’s 3 weeks away!

This year Prime Day will run for 48 hours straight starting at 3 AM est. on Monday July 15th.

What is Amazon Prime day?

As the name suggests it’s a day of deals dedicated exclusively to Prime members. Amazon introduced this day in 2015 and described it as “global shopping event, offering more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members.” If you happen to never have had a prime account you can get a 30 day free trial of it right here but I would wait until we are closer. Update: Not a prime member? Click here for a free 30 day trial. Now is a perfect time for a free trial or to pay for this one month so you can partake in this year’s Prime Days!

Plus, even if you DID have a trial account at some point it’s worth checking to see if you are eligible again for another trial.

Since it’s Amazon, the deals can be in just about any product category you can imagine. In 2015 the deals were poorly picked by algorithms and some considered it a big failure but Amazon has learned a lot since then and last year’s prime day was the companies biggest shopping event in Amazon’s history!

Prime costs $119 a year or $12.99 a month. Students with a valid .edu email can get it for 50% off at $59/year or $6.49/month here. Qualifying EBT or Medicaid card holders can get prime for $5.99 a month here.

Am I really getting a “deal”?

It’s very simple to check, when you find an item on Amazon take the URL and head on over to paste the URL and you will get the price history including the highest and lowest price.

Let us do the work for you!

We’ll be monitoring all the deals and posting them right here so take advantage of the many ways you can follow and get notified the moment a deal is posted:

Last year there truly were awesome deals including:
